About
Robert Johansson (b. 1977 in Grums, Sweden) works with stratum - layers of their own character, delimiting from each other, but still gathered into a unit. Vulnerability and degradation, through the many layers and rounds of nature and society, are essential in his projects.
Wood, as a material and as a theme, is reoccuring in many of his works. He works with drawing, sculpture, installation, photocollage and print.
Johansson studied at The National Academy of Fine Arts Oslo and Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna.
